A few quotes to celebrate April Fool’s Day!
The first of April, some do say
Is set apart for All Fool’s Day;
But why the people call it so
Nor I, nor they themselves, do know,
But on this day are people sent
On purpose for pure merriment.
[–Poor Robin’s Almanac (1790)–]
April fool, n. The March fool with another month added to his folly.
~Ambrose Bierce, The Devil’s Dictionary
“Let us be thankful for the fools. But for them the rest of us could not succeed”
“You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm”
Happy St. Patrick’s Day and in celebration an…
May the road rise up to meet you,
may the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and the rain fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May you have: A world of wishes at your command. God and his angels close to hand. Friends and family their love to impart, and Irish blessings deep in your heart!
May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night, and the road downhill all the way to your door.
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, and may good luck pursue you each morning and night.
May your blessings outnumber the Shamrocks that grow, and may trouble avoid you wherever you go.

Yesterday two of my good friends welcomed a little miracle into this world named Ethan Skaggs (the next Lance Armstrong). I just wanted to post some relevant quotes to celebrate the joyous occasion. Here is a picture of the beautiful mother herself…always looking amazing (my friends and I just laughed at how she of all people could look that good after giving birth…I for one won’t let people take pictures for at least three days *winks*). All my love to the Skaggs family today!
“Sometimes”, said Pooh, “the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
Before you were conceived
I wanted you
Before you were born
I loved you
Before you were here an hour
I would give my life for you
This is the miracle of life.

A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for ~Unknown
“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” ~ Hodding Carter quotes
Having a baby is like falling in love again, both with your husband and your child.
